LAGENIO K9 SIM Card & Carrier Compatibility
LAGENIO K9 uses a physical 4G Nano SIM card. For the best experience, choose a mobile plan that includes both 4G mobile data and voice calling.
eSIM is not supported.
Data-only SIM cards are not recommended.
Buy directly from a major local mobile carrier whenever possible.
A SIM that uses a major carrier's network is not always a SIM issued directly by that carrier.
For example, another provider may advertise that it "uses the EE network", "runs on the Vodafone network" or "uses T-Mobile coverage". In this case, the SIM is issued by the third-party provider — not directly by EE, Vodafone or T-Mobile.
This matters because two SIM cards using the same underlying mobile network can still have different carrier settings and smartwatch compatibility.
EE SIM purchased directly from EE
Vodafone SIM purchased directly from Vodafone
T-Mobile SIM purchased directly from T-Mobile
A SIM from another company that says it "uses EE", "uses Vodafone" or "runs on the T-Mobile network".
Please note: A SIM working normally in a smartphone does not automatically guarantee compatibility with the watch.
Some third-party providers or MVNOs have been used successfully with LAGENIO and are listed by name below. If your exact provider is not listed, this does not necessarily mean that it will not work.
For an unlisted third-party provider or MVNO, we recommend contacting LAGENIO before purchasing or activating the SIM.
The following carrier information is based on our current testing, customer usage and shipment records for the K9 platform.
Carrier compatibility can differ between LAGENIO models. A carrier listed for K3 or K10 should not automatically be assumed to have the same compatibility with K9.

The LAGENIO K9 U.S. version comes with a SpeedTalk SIM card pre-inserted in the watch.
This is part of the standard U.S. configuration and does not mean that the watch is used, returned, refurbished or previously owned.
The included SpeedTalk SIM must be activated before use. Activation is optional and costs $15.99 per month if activated.
You are not required to use SpeedTalk. You may remove the included SIM and use another compatible physical Nano SIM instead.
Watch the SpeedTalk activation guide below:
Not being listed does not necessarily mean that the watch cannot be used with that carrier or in that country.
For the most reliable compatibility, choose a physical Nano SIM issued directly by a major local mobile carrier and make sure the plan includes both 4G mobile data and voice calling.
If you would like to use an unlisted third-party provider or MVNO, please contact LAGENIO before purchasing or activating the SIM.
