LAGENIO watches are compatible with supported 4G Nano SIM cards with voice calling and mobile data. Parents use the LAGENIO App on their own iOS or Android phone to manage contacts, check location, set Class Mode and access parental controls.

Parents control who can communicate with their child through the LAGENIO App.

Approved family members and trusted contacts can be managed by the parent, helping children stay connected with the people they know while limiting unwanted contact from unknown callers.

LAGENIO is designed for safe, parent-managed family communication rather than unrestricted smartphone messaging.

Depending on the model, communication features can include 4G voice calls, video calls, NIO Call over Wi-Fi or 4G mobile data, and voice messages between the watch and the LAGENIO App.

LAGENIO uses 5-way positioning — GPS, Wi-Fi, LBS, A-GPS and accelerometer positioning — to help parents check their child's location in different environments.

GPS generally provides the best accuracy outdoors with a clear view of the sky. Indoors, near tall buildings or where GPS signals are weaker, the watch can use other available positioning methods to help determine its location.

Location accuracy can vary depending on the environment, network signal and available positioning method.

Class Mode helps reduce distractions during scheduled school hours.

When it is active, calls, messages and other distracting functions are restricted so your child can focus on class. Location tracking and SOS remain available, so parents can still check the watch’s location and children can reach emergency contacts when needed.

Normal functions become available again when the scheduled Class Mode period ends.

LAGENIO is designed to give children a more focused, age-appropriate smartwatch experience.

There is no open social media, app store or unrestricted web browsing. Some models, such as the K9, include a few simple built-in puzzle games, but children cannot freely download additional games or third-party apps.

Kids still get a little room for fun, without the endless apps, social feeds and online distractions of a regular smartphone.

K3 is a great first smartwatch for younger children who need the essentials, including calling, location tracking and SOS. K10 is ideal for families who prioritize simplicity, longer battery life and everyday school use, while also offering built-in NIO AI features. K9 provides a more advanced smartwatch experience with NIO AI, an AMOLED display, 5MP camera and more powerful hardware.

All three include core communication and safety features, while NIO AI is available on K9 and K10. The best choice depends on your child's age, daily needs and how simple or advanced you want the smartwatch experience to be.

For families who prioritize longer everyday battery life, the LAGENIO K10 is designed around battery life and simplicity, with a 950mAh battery and lightweight RTOS.

LAGENIO kids smartwatches are IP68-rated for everyday water resistance and are designed to handle situations such as rain, hand washing and accidental splashes.

However, IP68 does not mean the watch should be worn in every water-related situation. We recommend removing it before showering, bathing, swimming or entering the sea, and avoiding hot water, steam and strong or continuous water pressure.

Soap, shampoo, salt water, heat and repeated water exposure can affect water resistance over time.

In simple terms: everyday splashes are fine, but take the watch off before bathing, swimming or going into the sea.
